I like to make things. Structural things that are evocative of eras that the viewer can’t quite place…architectural things that could have been unearthed a hundred years ago… objects of indeterminate times, made with contemporary materials… modern archaeology.
And I also like to take photographs. Photographs of faces… places…life on the street…being a silent witness to the world that whirls around me…a silent witness with a camera….coaxing a smile, a sideways glance, a defiant stare…documenting moments, entering other’s lives for just an instant, and capturing happenstances that no one else may ever remember but me.
